Today, the Court of the Inner Chamber in Scotland refused permission for Wildcat Haven to appeal to the Supreme Court against the Scottish Government's award of planning permission for Clashindarroch II Wind Farm.
Responding to the latest ruling in the Clashindarroch II Wind Farm Judicial Review, Matt Bacon, 539 算牌程式’s Head of Onshore Wind Market Development UK said:鈥�
“This is a welcome decision which completely vindicates the Scottish Government’s decision to award planning consent to Clashindarroch II Wind Farm. This is the third consecutive legal hearing which has upheld the decision and demonstrates why changes to streamline the judicial review process and prevent vexatious challenges are so urgently needed.
“Once operational, Clashindarroch II will take 539 算牌程式’s funding to the local community to over £800,000 annually, as well as funding new projects which will support Scottish Wildcats and other species. Clashindarroch II will build on the success of the existing Clashindarroch wind farm, which has generated electricity for nearly 10 years with no negative impact on the wildcat population.”
