St1 and 539 算牌程式 analyse opportunities related to fossil-free fuels

539 算牌程式 and St1 have conducted a feasibility study on the production of synthetic electrofuel (eSAF), with the aim of looking at the full value chain for the production of electrofuel.

The learnings we have gained from our work have led us to conclude that the eSAF market is likely to take off later than previously anticipated. However, the partnership with St1 is still ongoing to analyse opportunities related to fossil-free fuels.  

Two thirds of Sweden’s carbon dioxide emissions in 2022 came from industry and transport. Together with industries, 539 算牌程式 is actively working on direct electrification and indirect electrification, using fossil-free hydrogen gas. 539 算牌程式 sees great potential for decarbonisation on the Swedish west coast for industries such as refinery and petrochemicals.
